Big debate. Do I watch the Grammy Awards, or the Lost special? Yeah, no debate at all, actually - hello Lost.
Only thing worth watching on the Grammys will be the performances, and I can catch those online later.
Besides, I could listen to Michael Emerson read the phonebook, so anything narrated by him is a must watch.

Watching the new ‘Fame’ and trying to understand why they couldn’t come up with a plot to go with the shallow characters. This is one dull movie my friends.

Thanks to Random NYC my photo from Central Park is hands down the most popular thing I’ve ever posted. Definitely happy about that one. Makes me realize that maybe I should shut up and post more photos.

David Letterman’s rant on Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien. I love this guy - Letterman that is. I also love how this whole fiasco has validated my deep, resounding hate for Leno.
(P.S. Tumblr needs to fix this video embed thing.)

‘You want a toe? I can get you a toe.’
There are better, more serious videos from our Oscar roundtable, here, but we love this one.
Thank you, Newsweek, this is beyond brilliant.

To complement the “Like” button on posts, I sometimes wish there was also a “Hate” option on Tumblr too. I know, that’s mean, but every so often there’s a post by someone I follow and I can’t help but look at it and go, yeah - no thanks.

The New iPad Looks Like a Big iPhone
thegatemag:
The New York Times’ Bits Blog has been liveblogging the Apple unveiling of the Apple iPad.
Here’s what they had to say after it was first shown:
1:10 p.m. All of us use laptops and smartphones now. The question has arisen lately: is there room for a third category of device in the middle?
The new device will have to be far better than the laptop and smartphone at doing important...

PREACH
Not to pick a fight, but since most people don’t care to recognize those who create images and graphics, watermarks are pretty much a must. I guess it depends what it is, but, I mean, should cartoonists stop signing their work too?...

Webb for 'Spider-Man 4'
Sony has announced that Marc Webb, who previously helmed ‘(500) Days of Summer’, will direct the upcoming ‘Spider-Man 4’ film.
Webb was quoted as saying, “This is a dream come true and I couldn’t be more aware of the challenge, responsibility, or opportunity. Sam Raimi’s virtuoso rendering of Spider-Man is a humbling precedent to follow and build upon....

Currently listening to the new Hawksley Workman album, ‘Meat’. Got it on an actual CD from the label, and have as yet to write anything meaningful about it. Just working that up right now, actually.
The best I can say for now is that it’s his usual eclectic style, mixed and jumbled between tracks, but still coherent on some level. It’s a good CD, maybe not mind-blowing,...
