I won’t deny it—she can be pretty cool, but my first instinct when finding out that a major celebrity like Beyoncé had joined Tumblr was to want to back away slowly.
I’m not usually that guy who wants to keep his favorite thing away from the cloying masses, but this time I felt it.

Pinterest < Tumblr
After toying around with Pinterest for a few minutes I’m struck by the simple fact that it’s Tumblr-lite. The only thing I kind of like it being able to see my screen filled with posts, rather than scrolling single-file.
Still, I’m not sure I’ll become that engaged in it.

Yeah, but has anyone else noticed all the spam and fake accounts that have appeared? Methinks a huge majority of that traffic is not because of legitimate users.
